25 Oktober 2018 RTAF H225M helicopter (photo : RTAF) Thailand, The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) has taken delivery of its seventh and eighth H225M (previously known as EC725) multirole utility helicopters. Since 2012, the RTAF has placed orders for a total of 12 H225Ms under its fleet modernisation programme. Belonging to a contract signed in 2016, these new additions will join the air force’s existing fleet of six H225Ms for combat search and rescue, search and rescue flights and troop transport missions. The 11-ton-catergory twin-turbine H225M is relied  upon as a force multiplier by many air forces worldwide thanks to its outstanding endurance and fast cruise speed. Featuring state-of-the-art electronic instruments and the renowned 4-axis autopilot system, the multirole helicopter may be fitted with various equipment to suit any role. BMT has been contracted to recommend submarine-specific engineering management best practice to help the RTN minimise risk during the design phase.  BMT’s UK defence businesses have supported the UK’s in-service submarine fleet and submarine design programmes since 1993.  BMT has acted in a client advisory capacity to several overseas governments, and also supports domestic submarine acquisition and in-service support programmes from its offices in Australia and Canada. Yesterday, October 2, the portal ukrmilitary.com reported that the 2nd Cavalry Brigade of the 2nd Infantry Division of the Thai Army had completed acceptance tests of Oplot tanks. The video, published by the Battlefield Defense YouTube channel, shows tests of Oplot-T tanks (in Thailand they are called Oplot-M), which took place in mid-September. The military conducted running and fire tests, which resulted in the adoption of combat vehicles into service. The tank "Oplot" was developed by the Kharkov engineering design bureau and has been manufactured since 2009. "Oplot" is a deeply modernized version of the tank T-84U "Oplot".
