12 Oktober 2018 HMAS Canberra LHD (photo : RAN) A new corrosion-resistant coating that halved the build-up of algae and barnacles on ship hydraulic components is now the subject of on-ship trials aboard HMAS Canberra, one of the Royal Australian Navy landing helicopter dock ships. Researchers from Swinburne University of Technology are collaborating with experts from MacTaggart Scott Australia, United Surface Technologies and DST Group under a DMTC-managed project to advance the new technology. 09 Oktober 2018 Tiga kapal LPD di pelabuhan Palu (all photos : TNI AL) RAKYATKU.COM, PALU - Tiga Kapal Perang TNI AL jenis Landing Platform Deck (LPD) bersandar di dermaga Pantoloan Kota Palu, Sulawesi Tengah (Sulteng). Kapal raksasa ini diperbantukan untuk mempercepat pemulihan pasca bencana gempa dan tsunami yang melanda Kota Palu dan Kabupaten Donggala dan Sigi. Ketiga kapal tersebut adalah Kapal Republik Indonesia (KRI)  dr Soeharso-990, KRI Makassar-590 dan KRI Surabaya-591.
