11 Oktober 2018 New hydrographic vessel of Fijian Navy RFNS Kacau (all photos : Fijian Navy) New Vessel Enhances Fijian Navy’s Capabilities The Fijian Navy’s hydrography and maritime surveillance functions will now be fully enhanced with the ar­rival of its new ship the RFNS Kacau. The ship is the result of co-operation be­tween the Fijian and Chinese governments as well as the Fijian Navy and People’s Lib­eration Army-Navy. The RFNS Kacau was welcomed at its Suva home, the Captain Stanley Brown Na­val base yesterday. Heavy rain failed to dampen the spirits of navy officers and sailors as they celebrated the arrival of the newest addition to the navy fleet. 09 Oktober 2018 KRI Spica 934 (all photos : SuaraRakyat) SimpulRakyat.co.id -- Salah satu Kapal Survei milik TNI AL yaitu KRI Spica – 934 di bawah pimpinan Letkol Laut (P) Hengky Iriawan, S.T., melaksanakan kegiatan survei tanggap darurat di wilayah Perairan Palu dan Sekitarnya, Minggu (08/10/2018) kemarin. Tugas pokok dari survei tanggap darurat ini adalah untuk menyiapkan alur pelayaran yang aman bagi kapal laut sipil dan militer yang akan mengirimkan bantuan ke Palu, Donggala dan sekitarnya pasca bencana alam gempa bumi dan tsunami yang melanda Palu dan sekitarnya.  Pengiriman KRI Spica ini juga merupakan salah satu tugas dari Pushidrosal sebagai lembaga Hidrografi Nasional sekaligus sebagai lembaga yang menyediakan data pendukung keselamatan pelayaran di perairan Indonesia yang mempunyai kewajiban untuk menjamin keamanan pelayaran serta bergerak cepat untuk membantu mengatasi masalah penyaluran bantuan logistik, terutama dari laut ke daerah yang terdampak bencana alam tersebut....
